Live On Purpose

Hello!
My name is Ieysha Sanders and I want to be your friend! I believe everyone on Earth is here On Purpose. I also believe we all have a specific purpose, but I know the world makes it really hard to find it and live each day guided by that purpose. I want to live my life On Purpose, and empower others to do the same.
My Story
I am the eldest of 6 children between 3 marriages (Mom & Dad, Mom & Step-Dad, and Dad & Step-Mom). I am a small-town girl through and through! I grew up in Colville, WA until I was 11, then moved to Broken Bow, OK. Like, such a small town that the McDonald's closed at 9:00 p.m. on weekdays...
I lived there until I graduated high school in 2017, then I moved to Durant, OK (where I discovered 24-hour Whataburger and subsequently gained 25 pounds) and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I graduated from the Honor's Program in December of 2020 with a B.A. in Communications: Public Relations & Advertising with a minor in Small Business & Entrepreneurship. My husband, Kaden Sanders, is my high-school sweetheart, we went to college together, and got married shortly before graduating. We've been together since May of 2013, we've been married since June of 2019, and he's still the best decision I ever made. Without his support, I probably wouldn't be writing this!
Together, we have 1 daughter, Briella. She was born in May of 2023 and she is the smartest, most spunky lil' curly redheaded baby I have ever met. We also have 1 Bulmastiff, Hondo, and 3 cats, Tazman, Luke Skywhiskers (Lucas for short), and Jacquetta. So... a whole zoo. We charge hourly admission.
And that's really about it, hence the reason I've decided to start this blog and begin this journey. I want my life to mean something when I'm gone and I realized that I haven't actually done anything with it so far to accomplish that goal. And I know I'm not alone. Like all of you, I have endured immense pain and disappointment. I've made terrible mistakes. I've been a bad friend. I've been a bad person. But I've also been a good one. And a good friend, a good wife, sister, mother, coworker. I am many things, and I want my life to not be defined by all the things I never had the courage to do. I want to be defined by what I did do. So, this is me. Doing. Being. On Purpose.
My story starts now, and I can't wait to see what each new chapter has in store.
